Modern means of transportation allow people to travel around the world; they allow diseases move around the world, too.One example is AIDS/HIV. This disease has spread throghout the world.According to the World Health Organization, on 2004, on estimated 1039000 to 1185000 person in the United States were living with HIV/AIDS, and on estimated 39.5 million people world wide are living with HIV West Nile Virus.The West Nile Virus is another example.The current "swine flu" or H1N1 virus is another good example; here in Costa Rica we were victims of the spreading of diseases through the masive means of transportation.Globalization has brought negative consequences such as infectious diseases.The globalization of diseases becomes extremely contagious here in Costa Rica that the President of the Country fell in; according to CNN there were 718 confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus in Costa Rica and has been blamed for 27 deaths. GLOBALIZATION

Globalization is a modern term used to describe the changes in societies and the global economy resulting in a substantial increase in international trade and cultural exchange. Is an economic, political, technological, social, cultural and environmental scale, which is the increased communication and interdependence among countries of the world uniting their markets, societies and cultures, through a series of social, economic and political that gives a global character.

Is the openness of economies and borders, as a result of increased trade, capital movements, the movement of people and ideas, dissemination of information, knowledge and also techniques.

Globalization has goals and political and economic origins, is built by the Mass Media, and their influence on the socio-cultural, political and economic world.

It works mainly on achieving global penetration of financial capital, commercial and industrial, and new international political relations and the emergence of the transnational corporation, so we obtain the expansion of markets for capital, goods, services, labor and information across national borders.

Advantages of the countries that receive it

The immigration bring advantages and also disadvantages for the receiving countries, some of them are good for all the development options that the country could has.

For many countries is of great help and advantage of the immigrants come because they do the jobs that many residents do or not want these immigrants make and is done with good workmanship and to remain for the lowest price recipient country of great help because with them to evade large social cost. Our country such as Costa Rica too many illegal immigrants come here from Nicaragua and made short of sugar cane, harvest time spraying of farms harvesting in the banana plantation and construction.

The tricky thing about all this as in my country is that there is a massive immigration causing all work and there is beginning to show many robberies, drugs sale and people exes in hospitals and ebais taking the places that we can have.

This is a problem we could stop our selves because of not wanting to do things.

Human Rights
First, is accused¨¨Luis. and Susana¨¨, when their are being working as officers of the Armed Forces, deprived of their liberty ilegítimante to the ofended ¨Carlos¨¨ and they took his celphone and distroyed without any reason, The events under investigation occurred in Golfito and were described preliminarily by the prosecution as a crime of aggravated deprivation of liberty which was for no reason.
Everyone has the right to be respected even by people with authority because we must never allow ourselves valiere treated as less. In this case the affected imposed the complaint.

The ignorance on the part of the civilian population of the Declaration of human rights lead to governments and corporations with authority to abuse and violation of these rights, because no one can claim what is not known to have or possess.
So we must ensure that the authorities responsible for enforcing these laws to make themselves known more before the whole population, who demand recognition, respect, protection and promotion of all, especially in the authority. in our country this would be THE COMMISSION INTER-AMERICAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Domestic Violence:
"I've lived 17 years with an abusive husband. I endured his beatings and psychological abuse because he managed to set aside as a person, got me to feel guilty. I said enough when he tried to cut my throat and take our two Kids.He is in jail since December 2001. When I denounced, I had to quit my job, my home ... and start all over again. I rebuilt my life with a wonderful man. I have not lost hope in human beings.
Here in our country family violence is common and in many cases this comes to homicide.
Domestic violence includes all acts of violence (from the use of physical force to harassment or intimidation) that occur within the home and perpetrated at least one family member against another. Its ussually victims are women, children and dependents.
The most commons consequently of violence are the physical, psychological among others. Making the complaint in such cases will bring courage, security, self confidence, but on the other side can also get to have much fear for revenge, and this leads to no longer be able to live peaceful ,can lead to a
The story leaves us the great lesson of never giving up for more difficult it seems we must be brave and face those situations that put our life.

Technology fair
The technology fair was held at the University of the pavilion where we provide English classes, that day we had classes on the fifth floor and then visited all the places or classrooms where the stands were exhibiting their products, there were people teaching the new copier multiple functions, then in another classroom the launch of the new gps for the car which interests me because it saves time and fuel, then another that I was very interested in the 3m which exhibited products for dentistry, which is the race that I have, and which were very easy handling and a very affordable price.
Then in the lobby which is on the entry there were exhibiting an electric car for two people which was very small and with a very high price, comparing it with cars that are the same price and with better space and extras, we also observed how to save energy with solar panels
Finally observe the technological like HP computers and all higher level features.

Weapons of Mass Destruction

Weapons of mass destruction have many negative consequences.

“A weapon of mass destruction (WMD) is a weapon that can kill large numbers of humans) (and another like forms) and /or cause great damage to man made structures, natural structures or the blosphere in general”

With this concept of weapons of mass destruction we can see that just in the concept are some negative consequences like the destruction of almost everything in this way.

Talking about weapons of mass destruction covers many topics. I think one of the most important is the consequence that have a power full armed country over a weak country. For example U.S over our country: Costa Rica, that can affect politically because the apression that can do the powerful country against the other it ca be intimidated.

I think that weapons of mass destruction have more disadvantages than advantages, just thinking in the “mass destruction” that it can do.
